Working With Us

Our busy private clinic is located in central BC in a friendly city that is surrounded by spectacular natural beauty.  We offer ultrasound and general radiography services to a population of approximately 83,000 and a regional population of approximately 158,000.

First established more than 40 years ago, our progressive, privately owned community imaging center has expanded to include ultrasound and for a while mammography (which has now moved over to the University Hospital of Northern BC) in addition to radiography.  In 2005, we moved our thriving practice to its current location in order to accommodate all three of our diagnostic modalities in one central office. This also allowed Phoenix Medical Imaging to switch to a digital environment.  The utilization of PACS film storage (Picture Archiving Communications System) and computerized radiography and ultrasound enables quick and easy electronic exchange of examinations and reports within our clinic and with the referring physicians. 

We enjoy a great working environment and many of our staff members have contributed to our success for more than 20 years.  The owners often treat us to celebrations, bonuses and special occasions in addition to get togethers we organize ourselves.
